Refund Policy

Thank you for choosing Traversing the Psychic Life of Power. My coaching services are designed to provide transformative psychoanalytic and philosophical support grounded in critical theory and intersectional critiques of power. To ensure clarity and mutual respect, the following Refund Policy applies:
 

Non-Refundable Deposits
Any deposit made to secure coaching sessions, packages, or any other services is non-refundable. Deposits help reserve your time and guarantee commitment to the coaching process. The non-refundable deposit applies even if you later decide to cancel the service, except in cases where I fail to fulfill my obligations or if there is a valid reason for termination, which will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
 

Missed or Canceled Sessions
If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please give a minimum of 48 hours' notice prior to the session start time. Sessions canceled within this 48-hour window or missed without prior notice will be considered used and non-refundable. For cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled session time, the session will be charged in full, and no refund will be given. The same applies for no-shows.
 

Pro-Rated Refund for Unused Sessions
If you decide to cancel a multi-session package after having attended at least one session, you are eligible for a pro-rated refund for any unused sessions.

Request Timeline: Refund requests for unused sessions must be made within 7 days after the last session you attended. If the refund request is submitted after this time, it will not be considered.

How Pro-Rated Refunds Work: If you have used some but not all sessions in a package (e.g., a 5-session package where 2 sessions were used), the refund will be calculated based on the number of unused sessions at the original rate of the package.
 

Example:

• For a 5-session package priced at $500:

  • If 2 sessions have been attended, you may receive a refund for 3 sessions ($300), minus the non-refundable deposit.
     

Processing and Issuance of Refunds
Refunds will be issued using the original payment method. Depending on the payment processor, refunds may take 5-10 business days to process after approval. If you paid via credit card, PayPal, or another payment service, please note that processing times can vary based on the provider's policies.
 

Termination of Services
Termination by You: If you wish to terminate services entirely, you may do so at any time by notifying me in writing. A refund for unused sessions may be provided, subject to the pro-rated refund terms outlined above.

Termination by Me: In the rare event that I need to cancel or terminate services, any unused sessions will be refunded in full. If for any reason I am unable to provide services as agreed upon, I will inform you as soon as possible and refund any payments made for services not yet rendered.
 

No Refund After Services Rendered
Once a session has been completed, no refund is provided for that session. Similarly, once coaching materials (e.g., assignments, readings, written reports) have been delivered, they are considered provided, and no refund will be issued.
 

Special Circumstances and Exceptions
Illness or Emergency: In cases of unforeseen illness or emergency that prevent you from attending sessions, I am open to discussing special accommodations. Please notify me as soon as possible with appropriate documentation (e.g., medical note).

Exceptional Circumstances: I recognize that exceptional circumstances may arise that prevent you from fully participating in the coaching process. In such cases, I encourage you to discuss them with me as soon as possible. Any changes to the refund policy under these circumstances will be assessed individually.
 

Changes to This Refund Policy
I reserve the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you, and new terms will take effect immediately upon posting on the website. Refund requests made before a change takes effect will be governed by the policy in place at the time of the request.
